Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University (SOA), Bhubaneswar has topped the overall chart in the state and ranked at 30 for overall by NIRF India Rankings 2022. SOA offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in the discipline of Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, etc. Admission to Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan is done on the basis of national and university entrance test scores. The candidates can apply through online mode, Apart from academics, around 30 percent of these students have received job offers during the Day Zero dream campus drive involving reputed companies with Amazon proffering the highest package of INR 30 LPA with the average annual salary received by the students being INR 6.3 LPA. The companies that have picked up these students include Microsoft, Amazon, Finastra, Robert Bosch, Dell, PWC, Kloudgin, Deloitte, HP Inc, Temenos, Informatica, MAQ Software, NPCI, Salesforce and Rapyuta Robotics, etc.
Selection Criteria
Applicants will be selected on the basis of the following exams:
Passed 10+2 with English as one of the subject and PCM/PCB and obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks for Reserved categories) in agrregate
10th and + 12th Marks Sheet
Transfer Certificate
Migration Certificate [ If Outside Karnataka ]
Identity Proof of the student (Aadhaar/PAN/DL/Passport)
Provisional Allotment Letter ( If Applicable )
Proof of Caste/Community Certificate (if applicable).

The Training and Placement Cell of SOA mainly focuses on three aspects of a career such as guiding the students for Placement and subsequent careers, Higher Education and Entrepreneurship. The cell takes care of the holistic development of students with three inclusive activities such as Career Mentoring in form of continuous guidance and Profiling of Students, Aptitude Training, Reasoning Skills, Enhancing Functional Subject Knowledge, General Awareness, Industry Orientation, Soft Skills, Group Discussion and Personal Interview Skills.
Around 30 percent of these students have received job offers during the Day Zero dream campus drive involving reputed companies with Amazon proffering the highest package of INR 30 LPA with the average annual salary received by the students being INR 6.3 LPA. The companies who have picked up these students include Microsoft, Amazon, Finastra, Robert Bosch, Dell, PWC, Kloudgin, Deloitte, HP Inc, Temenos, Informatica, MAQ Software, NPCI, Salesforce and Rapyuta Robotics. Despite the pandemic, most of the students have also received multiple job offers. The remaining around 55 percent of the students have received offers from reputed MNCs and Day-1 and Day-2 recruiters like Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, DXC, Capgemini, Hexaware, HCL, NIIT Technologies, Infogain, Tudip Technologies, V-Construct, L&T Technologies, NCC, Global Edge and several others.
