CMAT

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is an aptitude test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBA/PGDM courses. The CMAT is one of the most popular MBA entrance exams in India. About 70,000 candidates appear for it every year. CMAT score is accepted by some of the top B-schools in India including Great Lakes Institute of Management, JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya Mumbai, Welingkar Mumbai and PUMBA. The CMAT question paper consists of 100 questions from Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The total marks of CMAT is 400. CMAT is conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and the duration of the exam is three hours. 

Eligibility Criteria

  • The aspirant must have completed graduation in any discipline or equivalent degree from a recognised university.
  • Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply for CMAT 2023 but they will have to present the passing certificate at the time of admission.
  • There is no minimum score percentage criteria in graduation for CMAT exam.

Candidates planning to appear for CMAT exam 2023 must start the preparation early so that they get enough time to cover all the aspects of CMAT preparation. They must devise an exam preparation plan which should include:

  • Revision of important topics
