The college offers a number of programmes at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate level with multiple number of specializations.
In order to seek admission in B.Tech, applicants need to appear in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), conducted for admission to various engineering colleges and courses all over the country. The college also conducts a common entrance test (CET) to get admission in B.Tech and MBA. The college makes the selection on the basis of performance, done by the candidates in CET. The candidates of B.Tech are selected as per their performance in CET along with the marks obtained in JEE whereas the MBA admission is done only by the marks obtained in CET by the candidates.

MAIT Campus size is about 10 acres.(40 acres on wikipedia)
MAIT is divided mainly into 9 blocks, where each block is designated each discipline of Engineering, BJMC, MBA etc.(there’s no separation of MAIT and MAIMS)
9th block is for freshers, where all the first years have common classes and are not segregated according to the streams(that happens in 2nd year)
Along with the academic blocks, we have an Administrative Block, one huge Auditorium, one mini-auditorium, one indoor Sports Complex(indoor badminton courts), basketball court, football/cricket/volleyball/… ground.
There is also a quite big Library, which has good reference book in stock.
