Mohamed Sathak A.J. College of Pharmacy is a premier Pharmacy institute in Chennai established under the aegis of the Mohamed Sathak Trust in 1998.The college is affiliated to the prestigious ‘The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University’, Chennai and approved by the ‘Pharmacy Council of India’, New Delhi.

Our students have set a footpath at all levels in many well renowned pharmaceutical industries like Torrent Pharmaceuticals, Alembic Pharma, Glaxo Smith Kline Pharmaceuticals, Par formulations, Troikaa Pharmaceuticals, Synerheal Pharma, Swiss Garnier Pharmaceuticals, Xeno Pharma, Zydus Health care, Himalaya Healthcare, etc. Our students are also excelling in providing community healthcare services at many of the leading hospitals, clinics and large chain retail pharmacies like Gleneagles Gobal hospital, Chettinad hospital, Deepam hospital, Metha hospital, New Life Hospital, Sankara Nethralaya, Appollo hospitals and pharmacies, Newgen Life Pharma, Life Pharmacy, Med Plus, etc. We also have students to our credit who serve in software health services through medical coding, medical billing and medical transcription at Episource, Domex, MIIT Global Services, Visionary RCM, etc. Pharmacovigilance related job recruiters like Accenture have also enrolled many of our students. Many of our students are serving as pharmacist in government hospitals.
Separate hostel facilities are provided by the management for both boys and girls. Boys hostel is located within the campus itself. The capacity of the hostel is 450. Its functions including the discipline of the inmates are managed by a team of staff members along with higher officials. Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian food will be served. Shuttle badminton courts are located inside the hostel. A separate gym is provided for the benefit of the students.
Sahar and If tar arrangements are also made for the inmates during the month of Ramzan to observe fasting. Medical care during emergencies is also provided to the students. Generator facility is also available to meet the power cuts and shutdown
The ladies hostel for girls is located outside the college in Sholinganallur separately with all facilities. Free Transport arrangement is provided for pick up and drop from the hostel to college. Library with religious and other important books is available for the benefit of the inmates. Medical care during emergencies is also provided for all the inmates. Generator facility is also available to meet the power cuts and shutdown.
A beautiful mosque is located at the college premises for making prayer. Five times prayer is conducted along with Jumma prayer on Friday in the mosque. If tar arrangements are also provided in the mosque to break the fasting during Ramzan month.
For girl students and lady staff separate prayer hall facility is provided in the college itself for daily prayers.
Indian Overseas Bank and its ATM is located in the college premises for the benefit of students and staff. The students can remit their college and other fees in the bank easily and use the ATM facility to draw the money easily without wasting their valuable time unnecessarily in standing lo
