IIFT

The IIFT exam is a management aptitude test conducted for admission to MBA International Business course offered by Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Delhi, Kolkata and Kakinada. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts IIFT exam on behalf of the institute. The IIFT question paper consists of questions from Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning and General Awareness. Duration of this online exam is two hours. IIFT accepts foreign/NRI/PIO candidates for admission on the basis of GMAT score. 

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree of at least three years duration in any discipline or equivalent from a recognised university.
• Candidates belonging to General category must have scored minimum 50 per cent aggregate in graduation and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category must have score 45 per cent aggregate.
• Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates will have to submit the final year degree by October 7, 2023.

Result

IIFT 2023 exam result will be released at the NTA-IIFT website in January/February. The result is based on the answer key and contain candidate’s name, roll number, category, photo, sectional scores, overall score and overall percentile. Given below are the steps to follow to download IIFT 2023 result:

• Open the official website of IIFT or NTA 
• Click on the tab indicating ‘IIFT 2023 NTA scorecard’ 
• Enter application number and date of birth
• Click on submit to log in
• Click on the tab indicating IIFT 2023 scorecard
• Download and take a printout of the scorecard

Preparation Tips

To prepare for IIFT 2023 exam, one needs to make a plan in which, ample time is allotted to each topic of the syllabus. Start with studying fundamental concepts of important topics of every section. Once the IIFT syllabus is covered, move to solving practice tests and sample papers. For Quantitative section, one needs to be thorough with the concepts and formulae as well as all types of questions. For Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Verbal Ability, one needs to practice sample questions from the beginning to the end of the IIFT exam preparation phase. General Awareness section can be picked up in the last leg of IIFT exam preparation as it is memory based and easy to handle.
