NMAT 2021 Exam, similar to NMAT 2020, will be an adaptive exam. An Adaptive test gets easier and harder based on the answer given to the previous question. Along with 4 international centers, NMAT 2021 is being held at 60+ test centers across 50+ cities in India.
The NMAT 2021 Notification was released on August 3, 2021. The last date to register for NMAT 2021 is November 10, 2021. A candidate can take the NMAT 2021 exam between October 14, 2021 and December 27, 2021. NMAT 2021 exam can be taken upto 3 times but the retake or re-application scores will not be considered for the further selection process.

NMAT 2021 consisted of 108 questions spread across 3 sections i.e. Language skills, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Skills. Candidates have 2 hours to complete the NMAT exam. MCQ questions are asked in the NMAT exam.
Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation:
Based on past year trends, this section is considered to be one of the most crucial sections in the NMAT exam. This section contains questions from 9-10th class Mathematics. The level of difficulty remains moderate. However, NMAT 2021 is an adaptive paper with questions randomly placed based on the previous question’s level of difficulty.
Language Skills
Language Skills in NMAT 2021 exam tests the student’s Vocabulary Skills & Grammar. Candidates have to complete 36 questions in 28 minutes. Reading Comprehension, Verbal Ability and English Language Skills are important topics covered in this section.
Logical Reasoning
In this section the candidate gets tested on his analytical, logical reasoning and critical reasoning skills. It is an important section to judge the candidate’s ability to extract answers from the given information. Candidates must be able to identify patterns, family trees and complex directions to ace this section.
Second Week of January
Candidates can qualify for the exam by obtaining a minimum score that constitutes as the cut off. NMAT cut offs will be released after the declaration of the NMAT results. It is separate for every institute. Candidates will be able to check the overall and sectional cut offs to qualify.
GMAC NMAT is a reputed MBA entrance exam attracting a lot of applicants every year. NMIMS, like many other known B-schools, accent NMAT scores for MBA admissions. NMAT exam pattern is different from other entrances and requires a different approach. But with a strategic preparation strategy and practice, one can crack it. Attempting mock tests is an effective way to familiarize and practice questions and solutions.
Apart from recommended books for NMAT preparation, refer to online NMAT preparation guides. Take 20-30 NMAT mock tests, assess your weak points and work on them. Solve NMAT previous year question papers to understand the test structure, pattern and topic-wise weightage.
