WBJEE

WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam) is a state-level examination conducted by the WBJEEB (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board). WBJEE is primarily meant for students seeking admissions to B.Tech and B.Pharma courses at universities and technical institutions in the state of West Bengal.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are deemed eligible for WBJEE if they fulfil the following criteria:

  • Candidates must be a citizen of India
  • The lower age limit for candidates as on December 31, 2021, is 17 years. 
  • There is no upper age limit for appearing in WBJEE 2022.

Please Note – Admission to the degree level Marine Engineering course has an upper age limit of 25 years as on December 31, 2021. The lower age limit is still 17 years.

Mode of Answering

There will be four alternative answers for each question. The correct response has to be selected by the candidates by darkening the appropriate circle completely with a blue/black ball point pen.

Syllabus

Along with the WBJEE exam pattern 2023, applicants should also check the syllabus prescribed by the concerned authorities. WBJEEB will declare result in online mode. Applicants will be able to access the WBJEE result link from the official website www.wbjeeb.nic.in

Candidates can check the factors which determine WBJEE cutoff 2022 below:

  • Previous year cutoff trends
  • Difficulty level of the exam
  • Total number of seats available in the college and course
  • Number of candidates who appeared for WBJEE 2022
  • The total number of candidates who qualified the exam.

Preparation Tips

Create a Study Plan

One of the first things to do while planning out your preparation is to create a study schedule. By creating a study plan, you will be able to allot and distribute time for each subject or topic accordingly. This will make your studies more planned and consistent. One of the most important things to remember while preparing the study plan is to mix up the subjects in between to break the monotony. Give yourself ample time for revision and mock tests. Along with all of the studying, remember to allot some time for relaxation and extra-curricular activities.

Be Familiar with your Syllabus

Another work that has to be done during the early stages of preparation is to check and understand the entire official syllabus of WBJEE 2023. Through the syllabus, you will be able to know which topics are going to be asked in the examination and this will help you to plan out your studies. By concentrating on these topics, you will be able to know which concepts or questions may probably be asked during the examination.
