A.C.S. Medical College and Hospital, Chennai is a private medical college founded in the year 2008. It is affiliated to the Dr. M.G.R Educational and Research Institute and is approved by MCI. The college has been accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade. It offers an M.B.B.S program with 1-year of a mandatory Rotatory Residential Internship. Admission to the course is based on merit scored in NEET-UG followed by viva voice.

Admission Process

ACS Medical College MBBS Admission 2022

ACS Medical College and Hospital offers MBBS Course of four and half years’ duration along with one year of compulsory rotating Resident Internship.

To be eligible for MBBS program, candidates have to pass 10+2 level or equivalent examination from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) with 50% marks in the qualifying examination and should also pass English as a compulsory subject. Candidates who have completed B.Sc degree from a recognised university and studied any of the two subjects from PCB are also eligible for the course, given that they have completed 10+2 level with PCB and English. Candidates who have completed the first year of a three-year degree course from a recognised university with PCB can also apply.

Admission for MBBS Program is done through counselling based on the merit of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) Examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), followed by a viva voice test conducted by the ACS Medical College.

Passed 10+2 with PCB and compulsory English Or Passed intermediate examination with PCB and English. Or Passed pre-professional or pre-medical examination on PCB along with practical tests, after completing higher secondary or equivalent examination. Or Completed 1st year of 3 year Degree course from a recognised University with PCB after passing 10+2 or equivalent. Or Completed B.Sc. degree with any two of PCB from a recognised university after completing 10+2 or equivalent with PCB and compulsory English

• Central Laboratory: There is a central laboratory that provides a speedy result to facilitate swift decision making by consultants.
• IP and OP services: The college has a spacious waiting hall, well-equipped examination chambers, separate room for special clinic, baby clinic, family welfare clinic. The general ward has a bed occupancy exceeding 85%. Children with various diseases like diarrhea and infection are treated in a separate cubical.
• Internet: The campus has high-speed broadband facilities so that the students can browse for their studies
• Seminar Hall: A seminar hall is available where the weekly seminar is arranged on the latest development in medicine.
• Canteen: There is a large canteen with an airy space where students enjoy nutritious food.
• Hostels and Quarters: The college has separate hostels for boys and girls in the campus. Every room of the hostel is clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Separate quarters for male and female nurses are also provided by the college.
