Admission Process

• Admission to the B.E. program is done on the basis of merit in State level examination Karnataka CET examination conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
• Admission is also done through UGET (Under Graduate Entrance Test) conducted by COMED K (Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) as well as National level JEE Main examination conducted by CBSE.
• Admission to the M.Tech program is done on the basis of rank secured by the candidates in the State level PGCET examination conducted by KEA.
• Admission is also done through a national-level GATE examination conducted jointly by IISC and IITs.
• Admission to the MBA program is done on the basis of CAT/CMAT/MAT/PGCET/KMAT.
• Admission to the MCA program is done on the basis of rank secured by the candidates in the State level examinations such as PGCET conducted by KEA or KMAT (Karnataka Management Aptitude Test) examination conducted by KPPGCA (Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association).
• Admission to the Ph.D. program is done on the basis of rank secured by a candidate in state-level examination ULRAT conducted by VTU University.

Eligibility

Passed Karnataka 2nd PUC / 12th standard or equivalent examination recognized by AICTE and State Government in Physics and Mathematics subjects along with Chemistry / Electronics / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science as optional subjects and English as one of the languages of study. Students must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC).

Placements

Placement season starts for students who have entered the final year of college. The college starts preparing us for placements from the first year with the classes. Most of the students are placed. Average placements packages are around 3-5lacs with a maximum package reaching 10 lacs
