Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Technology, established in 1998, is a private institute affiliated to SPPU, Pune and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. DYPIT is the oldest campus of Dr. D.Y. Patil Group of Institutions. The institute offers BE program at the UG level, MBA and ME at the PG level and PhD program at the doctoral level. Admission to the courses offered by the institute is done based on the student’s performance in national or state level entrance examinations.
The training and placement cell at the Dr. D.Y.Patil Institute is playing a vital role in the growth of the Institute through a number of activities like training the students to enhance their employability skills, developing connections with Industries of all sectors etc. There are a total of 12 faculty members in the college and all of them have an experience of over 15 years.

The placement cell available in the college offers various services to students to get good placement in top organizations. The cell organizes pre-placement training through resume preparation, aptitude tests, seminars etc.
